The 2nd KUWAIT HVACR (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and Refrigeration) Conference & Exhibition will be held on 07 – 08 November 2018 at the Radisson Blu Hotel.
For a country that holds around 10% of global oil reserves, it may be difficult to believe that Kuwait faces domestic power concerns. The nation has one of the world’s highest per capita consumption rates of electricity, and during the summer months, when temperatures hover around 50°C, it is estimated that around 70% of energy is consumed by air conditioning units. Systems used to condition and create indoor climate in residential, commercial and industrial buildings account for the most of energy consumption. Environmental and economic concerns indicate that a reduction in the energy consumption of buildings is urgently needed. It is, however extremely important that the reduction in energy demand is made without reducing the indoor environment quality. The conference provides key elements of a strategy to achieve good indoor environmental quality (IEQ), with a minimum use of resources and energy.
The Kuwait HVACR Conference & Exhibition provides an idea-exchange and discussion platform for researchers and practitioners interested in HVACR systems and technologies. It is a forum to share ideas, exchange of technical and scientific knowledge, technical solution and experience among scientists, engineers, architects, academia and industry, facility managers, building owners and policy-makers in a wide range of topics related to the HVACR industry.
